Biological Activity

The specific activity is determined by measuring the inhibition of papin’s protease activity and measured to be 0.3–1.5 µM IC50. The colorimetric assay was done using L-BAPA as substrate in presence of 0.55μM papain and 0.44μM L-BAPA.
