|Introduction Interferon alpha-6, also known as IFN-alpha-6, Interferon alpha-54, Interferon alpha-K and IFNA6, is a secreted protein which belongs to the alpha/beta interferon family. IFNA6 is produced by macrophages, expressed at low level, only 1.0% of the average gene in this release. IFNA6 contains interferon alpha, beta and delta domain. IFN-alpha has antiviral activities. Interferon stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase. |Reco|HEK 293-derived. Reco|Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4. Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
